Addictive Drums
I am a long time user of Sonar, however up to this point I usually only work with vocals as artists usually bring their own instrumentals or i make my own using various other programs such fl studio, kinetic 2, sequel and some others and import the tracked out versions from those for mixing. I have recently taken an interest in learning the instruments within sonar. I am trying to find my AD2, however it is not showing up in my soft synths. It said its installed on the command center. Perhaps im looking in wrong location? I upgraded to Sonar Platinum today if that helps with any answer.

The XLN page opened for me when I opened the new Sonar, I got my AD packs & kit pieces, but after selecting my midi-packs there not there. I'll contact XLN, but I think you should too. I don't think it's going to be a big deal.

Ah yea. I guess we gotta go to the XLN site to download the installer or something. Came across the ReadME file form my X3 version. Never really used the Sonar instruments much before so its a learning process ha

Yeah, go to the XLN site, download the installer, register yourself with thew. You'll find a registration number on your account with Sonar. Pick you stuff and run the installer. You don't need to pick everything straight away. If you know their is one kit you want and a midi pak, but you are not sure about the rest, just pick them. You can return to make a more educated decision after you had a play with it. You get some examples of the midi paks with the install, that should help you pick them later

I just logged into my XLN account just a few minutes ago and added my new ADPaks etc. No problems logging on here. Not sure why you'd be getting that message.

I restarted my computer and it seemed to connect finally. Thank you all for your advice.
