Has editing in the PRV changed from X3?

I can pull it up but can't do anything with it... like draw in notes, move existing notes, nada.  It's like the tools are disengaged and I'm not figuring out what is different and I can't find in the help files, anything that might show me what I'm doing wrong.

Must be an oversight, but something different...

Is this perhaps related to the situation John found himself in ?

No, it doesn't sound anything like the same issue.

I have not seen anything like the OP - can you give us any more information?

    Good thought, John.

A locked clip could cause this behaviour.

no the track is not locked.  I am just unable to do anything in the PRV.  Let me mess with the zoom, as the other thread mentions.
I just used 2 tracks... one with AD2 with an AD midi pattern...which I could see, but do nothing.
2nd track was just Z3ta2...empty PRV, but I could not add notes.

Let me mess around more and maybe make a vid as well.

Well....  I closed and opened the project and all is well and I can't make it malfunction.  The zooming...when at max, I would say all the grids and notes line up as well.  At first it looks like they don't but it makes sense, actually with things lined up as they really should be.

I wonder if the PRV thought it was on an Audio track.
