Another smallish improvement notice in the new SONAR

So, I know I shouldn't do this but occasionally I get called away from the studio in the middle of mixing a project.  Sometimes, I never make it back until the next morning.

So, the previous versions of SONAR, would have my system LOCK if I hit play on the next day causing me to reboot... no complaints, I was the one who left the computer on in the first place.

Now, I have accidentally done this a couple of times and the next day, when I hit play, it actually plays without any issues.

Small inconvenience eliminated.

Thanks BAKERS,
Jim

Wow, that never happened to me in X2.  I haven't installed my X3 yet, but I am seriously eyeing SONAR PLATINUM.

    Peace

I normally turn off the audio engine to avoid the lock up/crash, if I leave a session open over night.

Sometimes I leave it for days and it's never done that to me.

Still, when I do do it, I will hit play to see what I was doing (if I don't remember), click save, and then restart the machine just on principals.

I expect all manner of bugs and weird behaviours have been squashed.

I can't upgrade right now, as I'm in the middle of two projects and working on them every day. So I'll probably only get time for a proper "install and test thoroughly" day or two in early Feb. But I am hugely looking forward to reading the bug fix list when it appears. That's typically been the thing that's made most trigger happy to install, these last few years.
