Let us delete EQ from Prochannel
I like using Prochannel, and I use FX bins in it (for VST plugins). It would be nice if we could delete the EQ module if we're not using it (or using a different EQ plugin in a FX bin module. It wouldn't be so bad if it stayed minimised, but it's usually taking up a good part of the PC workspace. Just my £0.02 (= about $0.03)

I would at the minimum like to have an option in the console view to be able to show/hide the EQ. Now it's always there, but every bit of everything else can be added or removed in terms of what you display on the console strips.
If not using the ProChannel EQ it wastes space in the console strips.

I'd rather it be "hidden" than deleted, but otherwise agree with the sentiment.

I'm guessing, but I suspect that EQ is always present to allow the feature that provides the option of replacing old EQ with new EQ in old projects that were created in pre-X versions of Sonar, when Sonitus EQ was built into each track.

Well, that works for me. Even minimised by default (switchable, so this can be on or off) would do.

Perhaps even a hide EQ globally in Sonar? A preferences setting? I would like a setting to start all my projects with the PC empty--save me from deleting a whole bunch of stuff I may not use in some projects. I think it saves many time putting these plugins (like Console Emulation and EQ) into the PC, but conversely could save the rest of us time taking them out; no disrespect to the bakers intended.

+1 on being able to remove the EQ from Pro-Channel. +1 on brconfict's idea of having a way to start a project with an empty Pro-Channel.

Don't everyone realize that you can collapse the EQ module? I mean... I don't see what the fuss is about. Unless you just don't want it in the signal chain. But I thought that's what the off/on button is for. mixmkr ... and like the FX bin, allow for more than one instance of any module. pre/post EQ anyone after a comp?
This I would go for.^^^^
