New custom buttons thought

I've assigned some things to the custom buttons, but I'm really not using them yet.
 
Last night, I wondered if I could assign grouped functions to the buttons.
 
For example could I select 10 tracks and add the solo button to a group, then toggle those solo buttons with a button the control bar? That might be cool.

Nope, I don't mean Macros. I mean like when you right click a solo button and do add to group. Some kind of groups wouldn't be binary, so wouldn't be appropriate for a button control. But lots would be.
