Linking track layers

in 8.5 and prior to that there was a Chain link option on the bottom so you could link track layers together in order to adjust decibel level or pan them all together as a group. In the x+ series i do not see that anymore. I've been wondering about it for awhile and I've come across some instances i still wish it was there. However i do not see a link option anywhere on the channels like there used to be. I've searched google and even the manual and cannot seem to find anything related to it. I just want to know if this option is still available and maybe im just blind.

Simply selecting multiple channels allows you to adjust almost all common parameters via CTRL+mouse.

I hear ya. It took me some time to adjust from pre-X to X-series, and X3 has its own idiosyncracies. Not on Platinum yet.

Other favorite shortcuts include D and Shift+D for multidock manipulation and CTRL+M for creating a Melodyne clip from the current selection.

Also, smart comping and the new smart tool in general are worth ten minutes of YouTubing!

Nice, yea I had spent a good time away from engineering for a bit I had left off with 8.5 then went straight into X3 took a few but i got hang of it and began to like it alot better actually except for a select few minor things. I never really got to much into the keyboard shortcuts So thank you ill give those a try. Im sure it would help if i began memorizing them for workflow.
