Platinum crashed in PRV piano roll view

My son reported it happened to him the past couple of days, and it finally happened to me. Clicking to delete a note it froze up and won't respond. Work lost.

Has anyone else experienced a crash in piano roll view? Ideas why?

Thus far that is not a problem with my system.  I can delete single notes via a right click or select a group of notes and delete them with no problems.  If that changes I will let you know.

    note I am using Platinum.

The reason people say the vinyl sounds better is because the music was better.

Finally, a post that I am semi-qualified to respond to. I have spent the last three days deeply involved with midi recording and editing in Platinum. I upgraded from X3e, so I guess I need to update my sig. I can say without any hesitation that my experience thus far with Platinum has been *freaking awesome*. Sorry to hear about your son's problems, so please post the specs on his PC. HA! I just got off the phone with my son in Hawaii - he's a Pro Tools guy - I was telling him about the upgrade to Platinum. For me, so far, big success. YMMV. Peace.

As can I. It just decided once to fail me. I haven't replicated it, but I think it happened to my son several times. I will point him to this thread in case there is a solution.

Also, post steps to recreate the issue if you can.  Much easier to figure what the cause is (and fix it) if we know how it happened.  Starting from a blank project helps too.

Steps to recreate the issue.... sounds so simple. I was clicking to delete a note. If I could recreate it, I would. It hasn't happened since.
