Clint, Great work, love your playing. Had to listen a few times;) I hear some Guthrie Govan in there too.... You did a nice job with the drums. Regards

Absolutely brilliant, Clint! Aside from the beautiful tonality of the guitar, I like the way the drums are performed/programmed. They're very natural sounding. Please keep them rolling.

My only nit with this song.....there are no vocals. Great work, pro sound! More vocals! I am diggin' your vocals in the last two, Clint.

Thanks Mike! I'll be singing more soon. I'll be remixing this song eventually too. I think it can be better than it is, but I'm trying to keep up a little momentum...I tend to get bogged down playing with all of these plugins and sims and whatever.

aka Melody Pond? I love Dr. Who. My daughter smiled when I named it The River Song...so it was a good choice. Thanks for the compliments. I guess I'm going to have to record one with vocals again. I'm trying to finish up another instrumental right now...and then I'll give singing another go!

Nice work. I was immediately captivated by the guitar tone..... so freaking sweet. The playing never seemed to be repetitious or boring.... people I know, who play guitar, would kill to have that tone. I thought you were smoking some tubes on that... apparently not. I listened twice and loved it both times.... great job. I really like your playing on this.

I, too, am a fan of the Doctor. I kinda thought about mentioning the "River Song" reference, but hadn't guessed that you already knew about it. ;)

Thanks man! I've been working with S-Gear latey. I don't think it's perfect, but it seems to sit in the mix well. Do you have S-gear? I can send you the preset if you want to try to improve it. Thanks for listening.

Clint,
Please send me the S Gear preset if you have time. I am finding the same thing, that it just seems to fit naturally into the mix more easily with less tweaking.

Thanks for the compliments, I do appreciate it...The guitar is played by me using S-Gear. I'm using the Jackal amp with the basketweave IRs. I have a dash of Valhallaubermod for chorus, the tritik delay and Valhallavintageverb. I believe I used the quadcurve eq to highpass a little, I can't remember for sure...probably around a 100hz. Everything else was done with Sonar's Prochannel. PC4k bus comp and Concrete limiter.

Thanks Starise. I don't do the Santana thing on purpose, but I confess to being a huge fan when growing up and learning to play. I guess you are what you eat...so to speak.
