What are "assets" files?

They don't move with the project files when I use Sonar to move the project files into my archive folder.  And they don't seem to matter, the project files can run without the asset files.

Just curious.

They may be deleted. Asset files were used for Gobbler integration. To suppress their creation uncheck "Save Asset Manifests with Projects" in Preferences > File > Advanced." To see advanced settings make sure to select the Advanced radio button at the bottom of the Preferences dialog.
