Alloy 2 demo

I'm curious to see what Izotope's Alloy 2 has to offer, They have a 10 day demo available.....after the 10 days does all that was applied during the demo period fizzle out? Never demo'ed a software before, Opinions on Alloy 2 would be welcomed also. Thx

Keneds - Alloy 2 is my go to effect for a great number of my tracks. I use it in the ProChannel in an FX Chain.

No question there are a ton of awesome compressors, EQs, and other stuff like limiters available on the market and many excellent ones included in Sonar.

What I like about Alloy 2 first off is that it sounds great generally. But secondly, unlike mixing and matching the various compressors and EQs you can try out, Alloy 2 has very good ones of each of those - and Alloy 2 comes with presets. The presets are a handy timesaver. You pick one based on your idea about the sound you're after, and the preset pulls together a combination of modules that get you started on that sound. You can adjust from that as a starting point.

So it's good. There's an excellent Groove 3 tutorial on it available.

Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

Alloy 2 is a really good plug-in. It's fairly light on your system which allows for multiple placing and has great presets.  For the price-point, I don't think you can do much better.

Good quality set of tools in one convenient plug. I would buy it secondhand, as it goes at a very reasonable price on KVR.
