SONAR Platinum, and Presonus Faderport.

I just upgraded from X3 to Platinum, and once I had Platinum set up, I was no longer able to use my Faderport.

Anyone else having this issue?

I've got faderport running fine on platinum. Is it still listed in your preferences?

Try in preferences, going into MIDI (I think) and making sure that key aftertouch and channel aftertouch are checked.

I've done that. I went through all the steps outlined in the help section (its also the same steps on the Presonus website), and still nothing. I've tried uninstalling the faderport software, and reinstalling it, but still no luck. I remember it working the first time when I ran through the steps when I purchased it, andused it with X3, and as soon as I upgraded it, it stopped working.

SONAR sees it, and the key/channel aftertouch settings are selected as well. The only difference I could see was that the in/out port selection only offers "Faderport(upgrade mode)", instead of just "Faderport". no idea what that means though.

Mine's working fine - I did not need to reinstall the driver during the upgrade from X3.

Have you installed the latest Firmware of the faderport?  it is necessary.  Also have a look at AZController:

I did not need to use this, but after installing it, the faderport worked with its generic driver.

For some reason on my controller select drop menu it doesn't show AZ-controller.
Someone told me to use MACKEY controller but when selected it just shows up as connecting and it will stay there..but nothing happens.

You have to install A Controller from here:
    http://www.azslow.com/

Then follow the installation instructions in the documentation/Tutorials on the web site.
