Metering In Platinum

So far it's been a smooth ride in Platinum. I always use Peak + RMS metering. I set it up for all metering and save the project. Reopen the project and it's reverted back to peak only. Is this a bug? Thanks, Shep

I opened 2 projects created in X3e in Platinum and it displays Peak + RMS. Just the project created in Platinum seems to be unable to save meter settings for me.

I reported waaaaay back in S8 that Peak+RMS mode was not preserved for Record meters. The problem report was closed and reported fixed at some point, but I was still seeing a problem, and AFAIK it's persisted in all versions since. Peak+RMS settings for Playback and Bus meters were always preserved okay, though, and still are.

I have pics where I enabled Peak + RMS and they function. I saved the project, closed and reopened Platinum, reopen same project - reverted to Peak. But, I can't upload them into this post. Only URL is available.
     Don't know what's up.

Is there a setting in preferences that I may need to change to make this work?

I don't know what to think of this. I wanted to use horizontal meters in TV and hold and lock peaks in TV and CV (busses and master, too), set as such and saved project. Reopen to find the track meters reverted to vertical and the lock disengaged. Will these functions only stay in place if you set them in a brand new project? Getting nowhere with this.

I started a brand new project. Set all meters the way I want, saved the project. Reopening it, everything worked correctly. Perhaps they just don't like X3e projects. Dumb little things like this can drive me up a wall.
