Using Sends vs. Output

Just a quick basic question here.......

Say for instance I have 4 different electric guitar tracks that I'd like to be routed to a guitar bus with Prochannel on it (no insert fx). Should I be "Send"ing each track to the bus, or just changing the ouput of each track to the guitar bus?

Thanks for the help.

If it's just a matter of routing them to the bus then set the outputs to the bus. If you want to mix the original "dry" tracks with the effect on the bus, then use a send.
