How to acquire off line copies for those with internet situations? [Solved]
Hi Gang...
I know I read this somewhere, but I haven't been able to find it and I'm having a bunch of web-trouble...
Can anyone tell me what I must do to get my copy and updates etc. for an offline machine?
I'm in a rather difficult predicament, but with the help of kind people I've managed to buy Sonar making the first payment... But now the limited web access I have is an issue... I remain confident that I did read of how to download the needed files from a different location and manually move it to the offline DAW...
Any info on this would be very helpful... I'm very excited that I am going to have Platinum to work with... A little joy in my life! ;-)

You can download the files from your cake account (like we all had to do in the past). Then after you install them on your offline machine, you will need to follow their off-line activation procedure which is detailed in the FAQ. If you are paying monthly, you will need to do this activation procedure every month.

Guitarpima, what issues did you have with CCC? I have already done one update (I got an early invite and there were a couple of bugs that got fixed with the public release) with it and it was painless and very convenient.
