Super Saver - Supermarket Song Video (A must-watch for the day!!!)
I posted this song a few months back with which you all gave some feedback, thanks for that. After dwelling on the idea for sometime, I finally got the balls to go and shoot the video for it. We shot it in the local farmers market and inside the actual supermarket itself! If it had been in any other developed country we would of got kicked out. The result is a very entertaining production. Check it out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCjMTKNxWRw Cian

You were right, it was very entertaining. The song I liked a lot also. Catchy chorus. Mix sounded good. The audio and video were a perfect match.

Now that was worth watching and listening. You made a video and song that just brighten up the moment for the person watching. I have been sick and not up here so I went searching towards the bottom of the page. Glad I found this. I'm surprised at the lack of comments. It's at the top now so maybe people just missed it. Gotta head out, I'm going to the Safeway grocery store. HA!!!!!! This song is all I'll be thinking of while in the store. That should be fun! Have a good one, Cian.

Yes, it takes guts to fool around in a public place. I have done a little bit of amateur theatre stuff so I know.

Thanks guys! kakku - Cheers mate. Yes this chorus is very very catchy, really sticks in the head after. I think the busking I done when travelling really helps me just to get it done and not be overly fearful of the general public, most people will appreciate what you do. Clint - thanks for your youtube comment. We did not have any music playing in the supermarket itself, the few bits were mimed as I knew what parts I would prob use them for in the song. We ran the risk of getting kicked out and I knew blaring music would draw to much attention to us! (not that a banana suit helped!) Warren - Hope your feeling better mate, I love when a little bit of entertainment can pick people up a bit. BTW, no grocery store is safe when banana man is around not even Safeway!!! Gary & Wookie - Thanks for your time and checking it out men Cian

+1 each for the excellent mix, the humor, the bizarrity, the catchiness, the up-front vocal, and for the scenes of sunny New Zealand! -1 for the littering at the very end! fun job, guys! -Tom

I also used to be a busker in Warrington Uk. I never forget the nerves the first time I went out with a friend... just taking that first step.' Now I can stand in front of 1000,s and don't get really any nerves at all. All because of one little busking session in Warrington :-)

the pogue - thank you. must be the accent that give off the sawdoctors vibe! Tony, Beagle, Sixfinger - Thanks guys, happy to entertain. Tom - Thanks for the breakdown. But, ahem, Ill have you know, the litter was actually picked up by cameraman, in fact if you look closely towards the end, while it fades out you will see the camera "drop" so that he can pick it up! Gary - Yes I remember busking first too. Quite nervewracking, but now it seems so much easier. Confronting those fears. Thanks everybody. Make sure ya'all save that money now ya'hear :-)
