New to Sonar basic questions.

I am a long time Reason user, still am. But I was looking for something new and fresh to try ans far as DAW goes. I decided on Sonar Professional because I tried an X3 version a while ago and really liked where the workflow is going. I guess long story short, I try to be a student of and program I buy, but cannot afford a lot of learning curve time. If there is any advise, tips, tricks, on ANYTHING Sonar related, I would not only soak it in, it would be greatly appreciated. Keep in mind, I'm not new to DAW's just new to Sonar. So you don't have to use laymen's terms... lol

Thanks in advance... And look forward to communicating with you all...

Welcome to SONAR!  I'd start here (lots of good instructional video, and pretty concise):

Thanks for the response. I looked there. Does it matter that the videos are for the older versions of Sonar?

    Welcome to the forums,

As an accomplished DAW user you should already know all the terms, as you say.  There are LOADS of really good vids around that will get you up to speed on the way Sonar works.

Don't be afraid to ask questions.  Play with Sonar, if you get stuck, ask.  Go play again.  Have FUUUNNNN.

For the most part the older videos are still relevant.
