Control center screen resolution.

I've recently upgraded from X3 to Platinum. During the installation process I had difficulty finding out what control centre was doing as I did not have any indication of download in progress or any other options on screen. All I saw was an invitation to watch Cake TV videos!
 
In another thread on this forum the point was made about not being able to find options to change the install path of Cakewalk files. Mention was made in reply about a settings "cog wheel" which I was also not seeing. This prompted me to change my screen resolution in  case part of the CCC screen was not being displayed on my monitor. Sure enough up came the missing information when I increased the screen resolution.
 
So, the moral is, CCC does not adapt properly to different screen resolutions. Make sure you can see all the screen or you'll be missing all the extra info and controls as I was.
 
I am a visually impaired computer user so the resolution on my audio pc is set to 1280x800. I thought this was the minimum requirement for SONAR but it seems not for the CCC!
