Plug in Delay Compensation (PDC) issues

First off, this is happening with X3e, I haven't upgraded to Platinum yet.
Most any time I adjust a plug ins' settings or add a plug in while the track is running, everything gets all out of time with itself.
If I hit the PDC button, all is well again.
While this doesn't happen every single time, it does happen A LOT!! This makes it really difficult to A/B plug ins or plug in settings in real time. Is anyone else experiencing this or is it something with my setup?

It would not surprise me you'd get issues IF any of the plugins you're swapping around have some sort of lookahead engaged
