Anyone using iZotope Meter Taps in Sonar?

I think this is an interesting concept for "making room" for instruments in the mix. The issue I'm having is where to put the tap. If I put it in the tracks Pro Channel or in the effects bin, it's Pre-Fader. This means if I adjust the fader position, the Spectrum Analyzer reading in iZotope doesn't change. Changing the tracks gain does change it since it is Pre-Fader, but I like to keep that at zero gain.

Having a separate buss for each track would work, but that is kind of messy if you have a bunch of tracks.

Anyone found a solution?
