I watched this game because they actually had a good team matchup. The game was actually a good one to watch. What does baffle me is the selection of Katie Perry being the half-time entertainment. What's with that? Yea, I get it that the Superbowl has now been made into almost a national holiday and family event. Someone like her can cater to the 'new' fan base. But it was downright teeny-boppish. Not even Lenny Kravitz could save it. Why can't they get the Beach Boys? Everybody loves the Beach Boys to some extent. Hay, Paul McCartney was in the audience. Call him out for a song or two. Not that any of these half-time shows are ever that good, but its football for crying out loud.

I also watched it and thought it was a good game (I hate to see one sided wins). Seattle should've just run the ball and slammed it into the endzone for the victory.......but, it was not meant to be. I don't get caught up in all the (fake) hype that most of the country goes through for the game......my wife even asked me if I wanted something specially made for the game and I didn't really want anything......just wanted to see a hard fought game. Complete agree on the Katy Perry thing as well.........she seems more suiteded for the girls/teenagers. They would've had much better success with Pit Bull..........he seems to be more popular and liked by many genre's.......(although I'm not particlarly a fan). The commercials were also very lackluster and boring......they used to have some really good stuff in the past and a lot of the older ones were quite funny. I still enjoyed the game.....which is what I'm actually interested in.

I was at a "superbowl party." nearly all of those in attendance were approximately my age (50ish) and there was probably about 50+ of us in this house. As a group they pretty much enjoyed the half time show and all said that it was much better than some of the previous halftime shows. to me, it was OK, it wasn't horrible, but it wasn't anything I loved either. it was on par with other halftime shows, it's current and pop. so - meh. whatever.

I put the half-time show on mute...and then the dancing surfboards came on so the TV went off. Some things are just too sacred to be messed around with.

I'm thinking maybe Pete Carroll studied tapes of the 2014 Atlanta Falcons. They made lost at least two games because of really dumb play calls. It was just like watching a Falcons game. What a stupid way to lose a game... it brought back months of bad memories. I don't have enough RAM to process this properly, I hope I don't get a fatal error. Good on the Patriots. Belichick is probably the best NFL coach ever. He seems to know how to adapt to anything, anytime. I thought the half-time show was one of the best as far as entertainment. Yeah there are better musicians but for a show... I think she nailed it really well. I was surprised. I don't know any of her songs and I don't expect I ever will but the show was good. I didn't care for the 'Missy' part and Lenny didn't really do anything. I'm not sure why he was there. There were very few good commercials, IMO. I did enjoy the screaming goats. I have no idea what they were advertising though. The wings and Sprite 0 were both good. The smoked salmon was meh... J

there were a lot of commercials this year which were designed to be shocking and heart-wrenching. the "throw like a girl" commercial Dove Men Care commercial that Nissan "Cats in the Cradle" commercial! and there were others, but I don't remember right now seemed like there weren't as many funny commercials this year. I was disappointed in that.

I was blown out of proportion once, but it was New Years Eve and it seemed like the right thing to do.
