Setting for the Linear control of plug in knobs?

Setting for the Linear control of plug in knobs?

Hi
 
long time on and off user of Sonar since the 90's and have recently gone for Sonar Platinum and very impressed so far.
 
What i wanted to know is is their a setting somewhere to set plugin knobs to linear rather than rotary when adjusting with a mouse.

    There is no setting that I know of. The knobs in the ProChannel and Console view work with a straight up/down mouse motion.

    thanks for that, and yes it only effects a few of my plugins as some allow this setting to be changed (eg UAD) but nonetheless hard to use when there's no way to change it
