Sonar Professional MP3 encoding activation?

Can't seem to find where to purchase the MP3 encoding activation for Sonar Professional. Is it here?

It is on the Top Download page. There are two shown. The correct one for new SONAR is this

the item on your order should read

I wish there was an easy way to create a link to the item.

Did not work for me. Plus I've since been told the one I bought back in 2004 should work with Platinum.  Sent support request to Cakewalk January 22 and got a response same day asking what the error message was.  I immediately e-mailed back with the answer and have heard nothing since.

Well, thinking that maybe there had been an upgrade, I bought the one that's currently online last month.  It does not work with 64-bit Sonar.  "The MP3 encoder must be unlocked before use."  Some people say you need a different version for 64-bit Sonar than what's on the website, others say it's always worked fine.  I was certainly hoping that if the former was the case Cakewalk would communicate with me on my support request and provide me a download link.  I resent my answer to their question a few days after my first reply but still no response from them.

Just install Lame yourself, there are plenty of old threads showing how to do this. There's no need to pay anything.

About a week ago I did follow instructions I found for installing Lame.  I can Export using it, but with none of the options for tagging, etc., that are available when using the Sonar exporter.  Since I DID pay (twice!), I would really like to be able to use what I paid for.

I would PM one of the CW staff to get this cleared up. The idea is once you buy it its good forever.

Just done the same myself, wish I'd seen this thread first!
64 version of Sonar Professional, and just trying to get the MP3 encoder working... the download bought according to the invoice was:  "Cakewalk MP3 Activation MP3 Encoding for New Cakewalk Products"  which stands to reason as the correct one to download, as the message you get when you initially try to export in MP3 is just to purchase it off the cakewalk.com website.  However the purchase doesn't even register as a product in the cakewalk command centre nor after logging on to view products purchased on the website despite having an invoice generated.

After last night's email to support everything is now resolved.
They replied very promptly and also included a download link for the encoder in case the problem of it not appearing on list of purchased products persisted.  Tested and all works a treat.
