How to Change Directory for Metronome Wav Files

I'm trying to trim down unnecessary files on my C: drive, and I want to know where the file is that Sonar uses that points to the directory to use the wav files for the Metronome feature.  Any ideas?

    You need to use a junction/symbolic link to set the directory.  The default is C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Cakewalk\SONAR <version>\Metronome
     
    But since it's only 800K, really not a big deal IMHO.

    If you need to reclaim space and not screw up your settings, delete the tutorials.

    In regards to the os, you can reset the amount of space system restore uses and disable hibernation if you desire.

    I agree.
     
    You could delete a million metronome files and even then, the space reclaimed is pretty negligible.
     
    If storage space is at such a premium on your system, your best bet is to consider upgrading your current hard drive setup.
     
    I assume it's your SSD that's concerning you.
     
    There are quite a few things to look at to reclaim serious space.
     
    For instance, where is your Cakewalk Content folder? Sometimes this gets installed by default to your C drive, likewise with Dim Pro & Rapture libraries.
     
    If this is the case, use the mklink command in a DOS shell (type cmd in the start menu dialog box)
     
    Something like mklink /j "C:\Cakewalk Conent" "E:\Cakewalk Content" would work

    Whatever you do, DON'T even THINK about defragging your SSD
