Note disappears in PRV

I was working on a song in Platinum today and noticed that sometimes when i would draw a wheel controller for a pitch bend...the note associated with the pitch bend would disappear.  This happened two or three times and I would have to redraw the note in the PRV.  I do a lot of CC drawing for pitch bend and never had this happen in X3.

Just curious if anyone else has seen anything like this.

OK...I was editing in PRV in Platinum today.  It happened again, except I deleted a pitch bend CC I had drawn in the controller pane...and a note disappeared in the PRV.

IF a note is highlighted in the PRV....any note....it will be deleted if you delete any CC info in the controller pane...regardless if the note is associated with the CC you are deleting.  You have to make sure no notes are highlighted before you delete CC info.

I draw CC information in the controller pane all the time, and delete some too...and never experienced this in X3.  Will have to try it in X3 tomorrow and make sure.

(Sorry not at my music PC) I think there's a menu item to "move controller events with notes" or something like that. I wonder if you disable this - if that will help?
I know it works for  -when you move a note and want the controller info to move with it. I wonder if it works the other way - so when you delete the controller event, the note goes with it?

Have a peek at the PRV menus - it's in there  somewhere ;-)

Could be...   I've come across this once or twice myself, but noticed that if the note itself is highlighted when the controller is selected, then that note will be deleted.   I'll have to try it again with that option disabled.
