copying a clip

Just wondering if there is a way to copy a music clip without bringing over the audio automation that is in it. This is very annoying as I have edit the automation each time i copy a music clip to another section.

    Set the copy options by right-clicking on a selected clip and select Edit > Copy or from the main menu Edit > Copy Special. This will pop up the Copy dialog. The settings will be used in future copy operations.
