MIDI files keep playing in silence

MIDI files keep playing in silence even after there are no more notes to be played.
How can I stop this from happening?

    In the Track Pane, under Options, is an option that tells Sonar to "Stop at Project End".
     
    Could not having this set via clicking on it be what is causing your issues?
