Sonar Shortcuts Wallpaper
I'm sure this has been done before. I took my most used or hard to remember X3 shortcuts and put them in a Sonar wallpaper bmp. After you load it, just minimize your project to see it. I mostly use midi so the info is midi heavy. Anyone is welcome to download it here: download It's 1920 x 1080 resolution. If you've never changed your wallpaper: Edit -> Preferences - Colors, Click on the Custom button at the bottom of the window and navigate to your wallpaper file. To reload it, click the None button then click the Custom button again.

What a cool idea...
I hadn't thought of this but I think it could be very handy...
Thanks for sharing!

BTW - Why can't I mark the original post as helpful?

that's really a fantastic idea. I typically didn't use shortcuts very much, only because of remembering them and therefore limited them to a handful....fit project to window, inspector, track manager, etc
Platinum users.... do the X3 shortcuts migrate to Platinum? I was kinda under the impression quite a few changed...which I've also happened to notice

This is a great idea and thanks. However, for some reason, Sonar is not displaying the bitmap properly on my system. The bitmap is too big and the bottom several lines are clipped. My monitor is running 2650x1600 so at 1080 the bitmap should be too small, not too big. Does Sonar run at a resolution coarser than what the monitor is set to ?

Maybe your settings are stretching the bitmap or trying to fit it. With Win8.1 there are a few settings that can alter the view of the bitmap for the Desktop.

This is for the 'internal' desktop of Sonar, which you can only view if you minimise the current project while keeping the main window open. The bitmap shows up fine in the Windows viewer (and is indeed quite a bit smaller than my desktop).

"BTW are you related to my old gym socks?" Lol. Good one.
Btw, I use many of these shortcuts but I did look up quite a few to fill out the information. If anyone finds any errors, let me know and I will correct them.

Thanks. I'd consider using it as a tattoo if I knew it wouldn't change in future revisions.

Thanks! This is a great idea to make good use of otherwise unused real estate. I use a resolution of 1920 x 1200 and it looks just fine.
