Hi,
Some of the recipes to stuff this are boring ... always thought the bread this and that was the worst! Considering that you can do a nice noodle something or other, and many other ideas, I never understood why something as fattening as bread was used ... maybe it's the seasonings used that kill it!
The only thing we don't want to do is have you see a French Film ... way back then (Le Grand Bouffe), because you will never again look at one of those. Back in the day at Frimples in Santa Barbara for Thanksgiving is was about 32 of those and they were all over 30 pounds each ... and then 30 gallons of Split Pea Soup, and then 30 gallons of gravy, and then 30 gallons of chili, and then 30 gallons of Turkey Bisque soup ... we used to start on Monday to get all that going!
Lost the taste for turkey and chicken since ... for the most part, but you won't catch me eating either at Christmas or Thanksgiving.
