Bounce to Tracks - bypassing Master

I want to bounce a midi soft synth track to audio.   The soft synth has some FX, and it is routed to the Master, on which there are also some FX.  Since the audio track I am making will go via the Master, I don't want the printed audio track to have the Master FX on it (or it will then have the Master FX twice ...).

I am not totally sure when I print such a soft synth track to audio, which FX will be printed with it ... the default Source Category when bouncing is "Entire Mix", which I presume would then include the Master FX too (which I don't want).  Should I choose Source Category "Tracks" ...?  Or something else?

The soft synth also has a Send to a reverb bus.   Is the reverb there also printed when bouncing the track?

Freeze the synth. This will create a wave with only the synth output and track FX (if enabled). If you want the audio in another track, after freezing, drag the audio to a new track.
    Or
Select the "Source Category" Track and the track from "Source Tracks." This will do the same as freeze except it creates the wave in a new track.

Neither method will contain the reverb bus output. If the reverb needs to be in the bounced track use "Entire Mix" or select the master bus, disable the effects bin and ProChannel on the master bus, solo the track if necessary and bounce.

Select the midi track you want to freeze, as well as the synth output track. Just control/click to-select both tracks. If you do not also select the synth output track you will get a "no audio in track" error message when you try to bounce). Once both are selected, choose 'bounce to track' from the tracks drop down menu., In the options presented choose TRACKS as the source. You can also uncheck any fx etc you do not want included in the bounce.
