powder day

On a powder day, which ski resorts are cakewalk favorites?

StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen.
I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

I'm spoiled because I live near world class skiing. So any of the local stuff: A-Basin, Winter Park, Mary Jane, Breckenridge, Copper, Vail, Loveland, Keystone. I sometimes feel a little under the weather on powder days just ask my boss.

i'm 20 minutes from Alta,
so i guess i'm spoiled too!!

LOL

but, i'm only 15 minutes from Snowbird....
15 minutes from Solitude......
25 minutes from Brighton.....
one hour from Snowbasin.....
one hour and 15 minutes from Powder Mountain.....

but my favorite is Alta.

30 minutes from the airport to the slopes for out of towners,
where else can you do that? (besides Telluride?)

Best powder I have ever encounterd was at Kirkwood, near Tahoe.

But my favourite ski areas are Zermatt, Davos/Klosters and St Anton/Leck.

Can't beat Zermatt. Over 2000 metres vertical and the chance to ski down into Italy for lunch. All in the shadow of the Mattahorn and Monte Rosa.

It's snowing again today in Summit County.
Don't know how much we're slated to get but when the sun comes out it will be another glorious powder day here.

My wife and brother in law are at Copper right now. He has been in Breckenridge for the last few days so he'll appreciate some new snow before he heads home. Wheeze, sniffle, cough, cough................um, uh boss......

Where I live we don't really have powder, just some dust.

I'm in NC..... what's snow?

Seriously... there are few true powder days here..... the closest we come is the first one down the slope in the morning when the temps have been 20 or lower and the snow machines have been blowing all night long.... and it might be a few inches deep at most.... nothing like Alta.

We got like 2 inches then the stupid sun came out with all the after-front after-noon northwest wind.

No one from Boston with a favorite? Boston got 2 feet today. I guess they're probably just busy on a Mtn somewhere or sleeping.
