The vocalist on Miles and Miles of Texas mixed etc. the songs. I Am merely the guitar picker. I love my Tele and that kind of music cuz it's so fun to play.

The steel player in the songs is a monster! Gary Maddox is his name.

Very nice cover of the Asleep at the wheel song.

I'm a Pedal Steel picker.  Don't think I've heard of Gary Maddox.  I'm on the Steel Guitar Forum and don't recall seeing any posts from or about him.

But, my first recording session was in 1960, at Carpenter's Music in Biloxi, Ms.  The recording engineer was Pee Wee Maddox.
