Well.

I've never met Christopher Guest, but AFAIK he's not well known for having a really tiny head and body...unless those little guys are 6' tall and you're an 8' giant.

Photoshop...not as easy as you'd think...

I have to admit that I have no idea who Christopher Guest is, so now I'm really confused..... is he the photoshop guy, one of the dwarves or the sweaty looking pig-face in the middle ?

Funniest post in any thread, in any forum, in any universe............... ever

Not only that mate, but I believe you may have finally unearthed Alex's extremely well-hidden sense of humour.

Well done.

Did you sink a few birds and chat up some jars with him mate?

Well mate, as I was just saying to Archbish Desmond 2.2 the other day, I'm not a big name-dropper.

But me and Tuffers (as I like to call him) go back a long way.

A hell of a long way in fact (usually about 5000 miles or so).

But yes, I have to say, with as much humility as I can muster, that he and I did in fact sink the odd chastely maiden, (usually in one of the baulk pockets after potting the brown) and have the opportunity to whisper sweet nothings in the comely ear of a jar or two.

I always well up with pride when I recall Tuffers' reply to an interviewer's question about his relationship with me.... "Who?" he defiantly proclaimed.

Mind you, his lawyers on the other hand seem a tad more verbose, as proved by the thirty or so letters they have written to me about my perceived 'stalking' and 'harassment' of their client.

Still, it could be worse I suppose.

I don't know how we made it for so many years without the HOSTS to move our posts around and keep ORDER! What you should do Ol Pal is just try a little harder to stay in line. Ignorance of the rules is NO excuse.
You should take comfort in knowing that your posts are being watched.

Yorolpal:
I sincerely mean no disrespect or ill will to anyone...but it is my firm belief that the "Cakewalk Forum Hosts" program must come to an end and all those who've been bestowed that title must be stripped of it.

You have to learn to compromise, Yorolpal.

How about ending the program but let the hosts keep their old title; or maybe bestowing a new title, something like 'ex forum host'. Maybe even bestow 'almost forum host' to Bapu.

I think that should just about please everyone.

Yea...that's it...Forum Host Emeritus. Or Honorary Forum Host. Limited to ribbon cuttings and shopping center openings. That might do it. But I doubt it. I'm afraid that before long we'll be seeing that idiotic Hitler bunker video re captioned for more and more forum hi jinks.

I honestly don't care if there are hosts or not. But it's interesting that before they came about, there was  a lot of discussion from the members here about having them. It was their idea to begin with I think.

Yes and loose lips sink ships... how many times have you heard... "well, it sounded like a good idea at the time". If I were a host I would resign, just to show good faith. IDK, but it seems like the forum ran just fine without hosts. Where is Bub when you need him? Oh no I've said to much... am I in the spotlight?
