Creating Track Template from the Console

I have three monitors.  Across the two bottom monitors, I stretch my console.  When I create a track template from a track in the Track view there is no issue and the view you see stays the same.   If I create a track view when clicking on a track in the console view, the console docks itself in the Multidocker and I have to undock it and move it to the lower monitors or change to a screenset that has this layout saved.
 
Is this happening with those of you with a single screen or multiple screens?
