Groove clips loop for a 10/8 section

Hey y'all.  so i have an audio part that goes for 10 beats - 10/8 i guess, and it goes eight times, so i want to convert it to a groove clips loop and roll it out eight times as long.  This usually works fine, but with 10 beats, the clip always shrinks and plays too fast when i  convert it to groove clip.  I have tried changing the time signature from 4/4 to 10/8  10/4 5/8 and a few others but the result is never 10 beats long.  What am i missing?  Is there a trick to making odd time signature groove clip loops?

It's probably taking on a default length of 4 Q-note beats. Select that clip and try to find the "Beats in clip" field, which can be found in the "groove clip" section of the clip tab of the track inspector pane, or somewhere in the "Loop construction" view. Change that to "5" (beats are quarter notes). Then roll it out again.
