Rocco Prestia Interview
If you're a fan of Tower of Power, you need no introduction to their bass player, Rocco Prestia.
If you're not familiar with their tunes, I humbly suggest you find the time to give one of their live albums a listen.
Even if you're not a fan of the Funk! Why..? Because everyone who spends time on this Sonar forum is interested in audio production. A main goal of what we do is to try and capture those special moments where a song really comes together and to (hopefully) faithfully reproduce the essence and excitement of the original event. IMHO Tower of Power has consistently stayed at the pinnacle of musical excellence for over forty years and Rocco has been a big part of their appeal.
I recently had the opportunity to talk with Rocco about his career with TOP and his views on Bass.
If you're interested, you can read about it here:

Have been in awe of Francis' prowess since hearing "What Is Hip" on its release back when the Earth was cool...as was (and is) Rocco. Still a favorite.

Where you come from is gone...where you thought you were goin to weren't never there...and where you are ain't no good unless you can get away from it.

Ha! Not sure about that - but I do know that both you and Doghouse never cease to entertain.
You both make this place just that much more fun
