Screenset question:

This is probably an "as intended" behavior but if you have a screenset with a floating console on a separate monitor and that screenset is "locked", wouldn't you that if for some reason the console became "docked" (mysteriously), you would be able to select that screenset number again and it would return to the state that it was when it was locked?

I understand that it is necessary to be able to change the state of any screenset (locked or not) that you are working on otherwise we would be stuck on one view and we couldn't open another window or so on.  But it seems like you could go back to the original state by selecting the same number.

What I have to do to work around this is to go to a different screenset and then back to the locked screenset.

Dave, i don't know if it's intended behaviour or not, but this is what I get when making changes to a screenset.

The only way to get back to it's original state is to open a different one and then switch back

Interesting. Perhaps a feature request is in order.

I dunno.  If I make many more requests, the next version may have to be called "SONAR - Dave."

Have you tried "Revert current screenset"? That should return you to its last saved state.

Would this result in all future errors being prefaced by "I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that"  - Sorry old guy joke.

Or phone support calls that are answered with "Dave's not here!" - another old guy joke.

We have a local band called "Dave's not Here" They lost their drummer, Dave.
Dave now plays in the band I just joined.
And HAL is one of the forum hosts already... guess which one!

Screensets are a great idea once I figure them out. I'm still fumbling along with the defaults.
I use #1 mostly but switch to #2 because it has the Synth rack in the right side view. I also use #5 the console view. Someday I'll stop production and learn how they actually work.
