Fit Content option for Track in Track View

When inputting automation in track view, I like to be able to see the notes.  I have to switch to note view to choose fit content, then back to automation view.  It seems as though I should be able to adjust the view from the automation view and save going back and forth all the time.

    Maybe I don't understand the request, because I see notes in the track while inputting automation in the lane below.
