Problem Opening Dimension Pro on both X3 Producer and Platinum

Problem Opening Dimension Pro on both X3 Producer and Platinum

Sometimes, without any sense as to why, when I open the dimension pro dialog it pops up the DimPro window. I can see the frame but the inside is white.

 
This happens 50% of the time.  I'l wait hoping it will finish and it just stays this way. After a while the whole screen turns transparent white, and I have no choose but to "X" out of sonar.
 
Note however that if I have an existing track, DimPro will correctly play the track no problem. But the second I try to open the Dim Pro on that track this is what I get. Also, if my sonar gets in the mood for this issue, if I add a new dimpro I can't open it to assign samples.
 
I tried disabling my virus protection and it had no affect. All other functions of sonar work perfectly well, all other synths like Rapture work perfectly well.
 
In my X3 I reinstalled DimPro and still had the same issue.  Again, it works sometimes, and sometimes it doesn't.
 
My computer works fine in all other regards.
 
I've done some googling trying to find others with this issue and I may be the only one.
 
I'm not pointing the finger at sonar. I'm just stumped.
 
All thoughts on my issue no matter how wild and crazy appreciated.

PS: I've been using sonar X1, X2, and X3 for several years on this system and never had a problem.

    I apologize - I am popping this one up to the top one time, because it moved so quickly to page 2.
     
    Even if you don't know what is causing this, if you have any understanding of how to diagnose dimension pro start up issues or can point me in the right direction, that would be great.
     
    Last night I started a new song.  I used a standard 16 track template; before I added any audio I added three dim pro tracks, and set them to two pianos and a violin.   Worked perfectly. Then I added some audio.  This morning, it will play the dimpro tracks, but clicking to edit the instruments brings up teh white screen and a freeze.
     
    This is very frustrating.
