Getting Waves Rewire to work - so Waves Tune can work looping

Waves Tune works in the sense scanning and rendering.

But working making correction is really cumbersome since you normally set a looped time range to work on a transition.
This does not function without the Waves Rewire(as I understand it, it says missing that connection).
Sonar loops but Tune continue it's transport.

Cake bailed out long enough on this I think, being officially supported by Waves - but exception on Tune.
Tune is really good on corrections and also good to make midi from audio for score or other purposes.

Thanks for any support on this improvement.

Even with rewire this doesnt seem to work.

I have only tried this in Sonar X3e with WavesTune lite. In the browser > rewire panel, double click the "Waves Rewire" effect and it adds a track to the project.

WavesTune will now stop displaying the "rewire link cannot be established" error. It seems to pick up loop points you set in Sonar, but if you scan a section then play it in looped mode, WavesTune does not recognise when Sonar jumps back to the start of the loop.

I would like this fixed too

I just checked this in Platinum too and nothing seems to have changed.

In Artist(21.0.1.67) I got an error trying to load the Waves Rewire on a track so I did not get rid of message even.
As I remember I could double click in Sonar and position in Tune change - but not the other way round.

So it seems to me the amount of work to get position over to Tune wouldn't be huge.

I don't know if difficulty is that Sonar has Rewire support for Rewire clients only and something else is needed for Waves.

It would be really nice to be able to use Tune properly.

    Yes, x64 everything.

I think that Waves thingy is a specialpurpose something, not sure.
So it's rewiring any plugins - more like communications between plugins and host or similar.
