Arturia Matrix V and Solina V updates
A quick heads up. Version 1.1 of Matrix V is supposed to fix the "voice randomly shut down" bug. No links as I am on my phone, but it's reported on KVR.
There are other bug fixes and new features. The Solina V update is a minor one addressing CPU usage issues.

I know a couple of people here were having problems with notes cutting out on the Matrix V. Has the update solved the problem?

Quick question - I bought the V Collection 3 about a year ago or so, and after seeing this thread, I went to the Arturia site, and I see what look to be a number of updates for a bunch of the synths contained in that version 3 that I bought. Am I entitled to those updates, or do I have to actually pick up the version 4 to get licensing for them? I have them downloaded now, but thought I would ask prior to attempting to install and use them. Thanks - hope someone knows (and that its OK for me to install and use those updates) Bob Bone

I think so but I am not sure. The main difference is the new licencing system, they have dumped eLicencer and adopted something closer to NIs service centre. I thought the extra instruments in v4 were not going to bring much to my party, but I tried the demos and I was hooked and got the upgrade. Even the Solina V is very versatile, I though I had that ground well and truly covered but I like it a lot. Matrix V had a few issues that should have been sorted in the latest update. I have not gone further that the presets yet but it sounds excelent.

Bob I had quite a few of the older synths before I recently got V4 - I downloaded and installed all of mine with the latest versions with no problem. Cheers Nigel

Bad news. I installed the Matrix V update and the stuck note problem in Sonar seems to be even worse.
I am still using the VST 2 version. Has anyone tried the lates VST3 version in Sonar Platinum??

I can verify that the vst2 version is worse. Much worse in my opinion. Will try vst3 later today.

Hi any Arturia Synth's you own you can update to the latest versions use the new installer/licensing tool download and install it, you can then see what needs to be updated etc. It works very similar to the Command Centre, NI licenser, the XLN Installer etc Ad nauseam. All VST 3 Arturia synths now work in SONAR Platinum, see Noel's blog report on fixes and I have tested them. The VST 3 Matrix 12 does not appear to suffer from stuck notes.

I installed the VST3 but I am still getting stuck notes, though nowhere near as bad as with the the VST2. I have also experienced the odd stuck note in the stand alone.
