[Answered] Sonar Color issue

Hi
I have been trying to explain an issue I have had but needed a picture I guess. Because I received NO responses.
Hopefully the link to the photo works-photobucket.

On the left side of the tracks their is that little Bar that lets you select track color if you hover over it and click either default or other. Notice the blue ones it's hard to see the + sign. Now I can change them One at a time by selecting "default"-but for the life of me I cannot change more than one at a time. Is there a way? There has to be. I have tried colors in prefs a zillion times.
Hope that's clear and please help if you know-very annoying for these old eyes.
Thanks

Don't worry, it's easy. Shift-click on the track numbers to select continguous tracks, or control-click to select particular tracks. Then hold down the ctrl key and select color for any one of the tracks. The others will change as well. This technique also lets you preview the color in real time so you can try different ones.

FYI this works in track view or console view.

Another method that works well for changing multiple track's colors is changing the bus color. The default setting will make all tracks associated with bus change to match.

I have tried shift click and control click. I am pretty much a computer geek-retired Tech. For some reason if I click in the little bar with multiple selections already and keep the control (or shift key) down it only changes the one I am on???
    Am I that dumb?

And of course it still shows me as offline, that really bugs me.

I just tested this in X3e, it works there too.

    1. Click on the track number in the Track View's header for the track. The field behind the number turns bright blue.
    2. Ctrl-click the track number in another track.
    3. Repeat step 3 for all the tracks whose color you want to change.
    4. While holding down the Ctrl key, click on the little color chooser strip for one of the tracks.
    5. When the color pop-up appears, you should be able to hover over colors and see the colors change for all selected tracks.

OK -this all works on audio or midi tracks. See my pict-it's soft synths, which I use in abundance.
Is this the issue-because they are soft synth and\or track folders-if so-bummer............one at a time I guess

    Thanks for the posts guys

The Folder track itself has to be done on its own. The tracks within the folders can be done as I described.

OK-Thanks for all the research Craig. At least I know it's not me. That really should bean option and an easy omne also. I have 10 -12 or more synth\folders in every project-one at a time stinks. Also, it defaults to that light blue so you CANNOT hardly see the plus sign.

Maybe an edit in the ini file somewhere, but I wouldn't know where to go unless someone told me.
    Thanks again
Should I make a feature request? I never have since CWPA6.

Also, this offline baloney-CW has my password but they cannot figure it out either I guess. Haven't heard back in a week.
    Thanks again
