[Answered] Upgraded to Platinum, missing perfectspace and vintage channel ??

Recently upgraded to Platinum, and noticed perfectspace and vintage channel missing.

Either I muffed on the install, or they were removed as part of the package, anyone know?

Suggestions?

Thanks all
Tom

Were they already installed on the computer prior to the install of Platinum?

Perfect Space was dropped form Platinum. VC-64 was dropped from X3. You will need to perform an advanced install of a previous version of SONAR to get those plug-ins back.

If you installed through c3 make sure to add your x86 vst scan paths in.

FWIW, I think the new Overloud REmatrix Solo convolution reverb is a lot better than Perfectspace. While it's probably a good idea to install Perfectspace so it will show up in legacy projects, I think it's worth converting to REmatrix Solo in new projects.

The VC-64 is a different matter. I love that plug-in because of the parallel processing options, but it seems a virtual certainty it will never be updated. Cakewalk does not own the code, and all attempts to locate the person who does (going back years) have been unsuccessful.
