Export: Add some Space for Hall

Hi
I Have Sonar X3 Studio. I have arrange a song with some VST-Instruments and Effects.

When I want to Export the song, the exportet song will stop after the Last played Note. But all Effects like Hall, Delay and Arpggiator needs just some Seconds more..

Now I want, how i can say Sonar that the Export stop, if the Song really stops :)

Maybe I can add an "silent Note" on the End, but I don't think it is a "fine way".

The Last Time i want it, i Mark the Part in above the Tracks (Timeline) and then Mark all tracks (Double Click on one marks all).
But now it don't work again, so maybe I do something else, I not remember now..

Aren't there some Kinds of Markers like "Start Song" and "Stop Song", so sonar Knows "The Song sounds till here"?

I have read the Manual, but don't understand it really :)

Thanks for Help

In SONAR a project ends with the last event. There are no designated begin and end project markers.  Adding any kind of event where you want the project to end will do. It can be a MIDI note, an automation node or extend a wave clip.

Or when creating the selection for export, specify a time range using the Select by Time or From/Thru,
or drag across the time line,
or add markers and select the area between the markers.

And if what you want is to not have your reverb cut off before it fades away there is a box in audio options for "play effects tails"

A variation of the above solution that I find handy:

1.Set snap to whole note or bar
2.use control-A to select all tracks.
3.press alt and click on an extra bar or two on the time ruler at the end of the song (depending on the tail length)
    4. Export.

Okay Thanks. I thought, there was a better way.. :)

I Think I have Export the "Whole Song", and not the "Export marked area" (or like it sounds)..

The easiest way by far is to select an audio clip and slip edit it to the right so that it#s new length includes your reverb tail.

You can use any clip you want but it makes sense to use the one which has the longest tail

Create a silent audio clip and drop it on an empty track. Stretch the end of the clip to the end of the song.

Optionally you can split up the clip to corrospond to song sections to make range selection easier.
