Line in delay

Does anyone have an answer to the line in delay with Win7 that works? The "uncheck listen to device" and enable sound mixer does not work. I have Realtek motherboard sound.
Thank you,
RObert

Yes, most of us have that answer. However, it involves some cash outlay. A DAW(ie Music Creator) places fairly extreme demands on the sound card. The Realtek is fine for playback, but it struggles with realtime I/O. ASIO4All can help to an extent in many situations. The best solution is an audio interface. Worthwhile units start around $150 and up.
Think of your software as part of a system. A system is no stronger than its weakest link. Your software is capable. The Realtek is the weak link. Bring your hardware up to snuff, and you will never look back.
    And welcome.
