Editing Tracks

I am unable to edit a track on Sonar Studio. I can edit the other tracks, but not this one. What is going on that is preventing me from editing this track?

    Can you provide more details?  Is it a MIDI track? Is it an audio track?.  Is it a project you created from scratch or did it originate from a previous version of Sonar Studio. Is it a frozen synth track?  Have you ever been able to edit this one track.  Does the track play correctly if you solo it  Which version of Sonar Studio are you using?

    So many questions?

    It's an audio track that I created from scratch. It is a bass guitar track. I think I have been able to edit it before. It does solo. This is Sonar X3 Studio. It does have automation, guitar rig and waves bass rider applied to it.

    I'm want to delete a note and it won't let me do it. The highlighted portion changes to a lighter shade sort of, but it doesn't disappear. When I go to the edit button, it has undo delete but again, it has not been deleted.

    Is it locked? You can get to that either in the right click context menu or the clip inspector.
