[ANSWERED] Weird behavior flattening the comp

I have a song in three sections (verses).  When I right click the comp clip, and chose Flatten Comp, it flattens the first section of the song and deletes the other two sections, the clips in the other two sections disappear.

According to the documentation Flatten Comps is supposed to combine ALL take lanes into one locked, comp take lane.

This doesn't seem to work for me.  I am having to manually combine all the un-muted clips from all the take lanes into one take lane and rename it comp.

To make matters a little harrier, I have three tracks of guitar in the song with the clip takes grouped.

I don't know what I might be doing wrong.

Thanks

I'm not sure if this will help but try this...

Select the track (click the track number so it turns blue).

This will select ALL the clips in the take lanes (even the muted ones).

Now right click in the Main/Parent track and choose Flatten.

That should give you the full comp.

If your comp has gaps in it what happens is when you right click on one segment it only selects that segment and the clips that comprise that segment. Everything else get left off. Selecting the whole track ensures all the clips in your compa are selected. The muted clips are ignored even though they are selected.

Sorry if that's not the issue at hand but it sounds like it is. I was experiencing this a littel while ago and selecting the entire track fixed it.

Thanks, I will try that, although I have already comped the song by hand.
