There is a similar thread you can search for about shifting from monthly to yearly. I am not sure of the answer though.

When buying from a vendor the redemption code goes toward an existing account, so as long as is the appropriate upgrade/new version it doesn't make sense "why not."

Again, I do not know the answer, but there is an existing thread for shifting from monthly to yearly.

Hey J, I apologize since I was on my cell earlier and it is painful to search/insert links on it. Here is the thread I was speaking of and it looks like Susan G (post #30) went the same route as you did a week ago without a follow up, so "assume" it was successful.

Just in case something goes awry, Dean Capper [CW] also commented in that thread, so a PM to him may be the quickest route should you need additional help with this.

I'll look at that Mettelus. If this works out I'll post something so people will know.

    Hi Michael-

Yes, it was successful. In post #26 of the thread I started about it http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3182057 I wrote:
    Hi Dean-

Everything seems to be fine now. What great support--just wow!

    Thanks-

    That's here:  http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3182206
I also marked it [Solved]. How else should I have let people know that it was successful?

    Thanks-
