Video for a song we wrote

Here's a 'video' of The Mermaid and the Boy - a Forum Monkeys Colab (Ed Kocol, Jan Eiken and me)
Just lyrics and bright colours really but it was a way of getting it on YouTube.

Sheesh, tough crowd here lately. Nice work on the vid. I'd liked to have seen more of the b/w seaside footage, but that's just me being nostalgic. It was all black and white when I was a nipper.

Cool song. Was it a reggae beat? I liked the lyrics too. Nice text effects. Also well performed.

James - I would have loved more moving images but it costs money and Bapu wouldn't go for it

Nice song. I like the doubled octave. Very POP sounding. The seagulls make a nice touch too.

just commenting on the video because I've heard the song before.

I agree that some more/different/sea pics would be better, but good job mate, Daryk!

Thanks a lot Tom - I'm glad you appreciated the seagulls. Bapu spent years training them to play their instruments
