MIDI setup in Sonar Platinum

I have a Maschine Studio and AKAI MPK249 controllers running through a NI Komplete Audio 6 interface I would like to use in Sonar and was wondering if there were tutorials on a dedicated website somewhere for setting up MIDI for a novice like myself.

ive tried to figure it out on my own but it is too complicated for me

In the preferences under Midi / Devices, the devices should be listed and marked as activated. They are only listed if they are installed, connected, and powered. If the midi devices are installed correctly, you don't need to do anything here, they should be active by default.

You also need a midi track with input set to none (meaning omni) or to the midi device you want to use, output set to the virtual instrument you want to receive the midi data, and activate midi echo for the track. (If you select the track, automated midi echo should be active.)
