What is Allston? Did I need it?

I installed Platinum when it came out.

Then a couple nights ago I installed the Braintree release.

I had never heard of Allson until some comments here and there related to this release.

Did the Braintree version include the Allston stuff, or did I miss something?

Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

    Unless you were one of the pre-release users, you installed Allston. If you were a pre-release user skipping Allston is no big deal, it was the first general release and contained a few bug fixes (which are also in Braintree) but no new content.
